I just did a big (to me) friend's cut. Sorry there was no warning but I just didn't want to deal with all the comments. If you're reading this, you're safe. If you're new, you're safe. I just cut people that haven't updated their journal in a long time or neither side had commented on each others journals. I was due. If you cannot see this entry then you were cut. Nothing against anyone, I just felt we weren't getting to know each other.

An explanation for the non-US members here: The Friday after Thanksgiving is a crazy day of holiday shopping in the States, with some people lining up at 3:00 am to get great deals. A few years ago many online retailers joined in with deals on the following Monday. So this week's challenge is Black Friday/Cyber Monday. What kind of deals will our heroes be looking for? Or perhaps they're working store security? Drabbles are due next Saturday!

Während eines festlichen Banketts von Wall-Street-Bankern wird Frank Hatcher, Finanzmanager der Investmentfirma 'Bewliss Securities', tot in der Herrentoilette aufgefunden. Man hat ihn mit einem Steakmesser des Hotels, in dem das Bankett stattfindet, erstochen. Wheeler und Nichols gehen zunächst davon aus, dass es sich bei dem Mord um den Racheakt eines geprellten Anlegers handeln könnte. Denn einige der Gäste hatten kurz zuvor ihr gesamtes Vermögen bei 'Bewliss Securities' verloren. Die Detectives befragen den Chef der Investmentfirma, Archie Bewliss. Er berichtet, dass er einen seiner Angestellten, Richard Kramer, kürzlich entlassen habe, da dieser schwere, in Archies Augen aber ungerechtfertigte Vorwürfe gegen Frank Hatcher vorgebracht habe. Nichols und Wheeler glauben nicht, in Richard den Mörder gefunden zu haben. Archie hingegen kommt ihnen ziemlich verdächtig vor - ist aber bereits am nächsten Tag nicht mehr zu sprechen. Sein Arzt Dr. Ernst hat ihn aufgrund großer psychischer Probleme in eine von ihm geleitete Klinik einweisen lassen. Nichols begibt sich daraufhin dorthin und befragt die anderen Patienten - mit einem aufschlussreichen Ergebnis. Offensichtlich haben fast alle Patienten von Dr. Ernst ihr Geld bei 'Bewliss Securities' angelegt. Einer von ihnen, Ron Hemmings, ist extrem wütend auf Archie und bezeichnet ihn während einer Gruppentherapiesitzung als Betrüger. Am nächsten Tag entdeckt man Hemmings mit aufgeschnittenen Pulsadern in der Badewanne...

I found this community a week or so ago. It's a challenge based community where people are placed in teams and the teams do competitions for points. Who ever has the most points after a period wins that round. The challenges are fic, graphics, and other fun stuff. It's been fun so far. Come check it out if you're interested.
