Die junge Ballett-Studentin und Stripperin Amanda Norman ist ermordet in einem Park aufgefunden worden. Zunächst fällt der Verdacht auf einen zwielichtigen Südamerikaner, doch der erweist sich als unschuldig. Er kann Goren und Eames jedoch eine Beschreibung des vermeintlichen Täters geben. Beim Sichten der Überwachungsvideos aus dem Strip-Lokal, in dem Amanda gearbeitet hatte, fällt Goren und Eames wenig später ein schüchterner junger Mann auf, auf den die Beschreibung passt und der sich verdächtig verhält.

Kurz darauf wird eine junge Frau hilflos und ohne Erinnerungsvermögen aufgegriffen. Die Spur führt zu dem Pralinenhersteller John Tagman, bei dem es sich um den jungen Mann auf den Überwachungsvideos handeln könnte. Die Bilder sind jedoch zu verschwommen, um ihm tatsächlich einen Strick daraus zu drehen. Goren setzt deshalb voll auf sein Verhörgeschick und trifft sich mit Tagman zu einem Essen, bei dem er ihn in einige Widersprüche zu verwickeln hofft...

It's Remembrance Day in Canada today. Remembrance Day is a time where we remember the wars fought in the past and the ones that are still going on. We take time to think about our involvement in war and to remember those who fell in the line of duty. It's a very solemn day for Canadians: one of serious contemplation and reflection.

Flanders Fields is a poem written by Canadian physician and Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae in France on May 3, 1915. McCrae didn't survive the war, but he did leave this poem behind, found in his diary by his friend. Every school kid has to learn the poem and recite it at their school's memorial for Remembrance Day; it's become the symbol of Canadian's feelings about war about our involvement in war.

Flander's Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

For those who fell before us in service, giving their lives for our freedom, I thank you. Lest we forget.
